Left me stranded with no ticket in Denver. Rip-off! Nationwide

After dealing with Priceline for several years with no adverse incidents, I purchased a round trip to visit my daughter for Christmas. I thought that their prices were no longer much of a bargain, after the surcharges I only saved about $25 from buying direct from the airline.

My daughter's car died a few days later, I work for a dealer so I bought her another (she is a student at CSU) and had to drive it out to her. I contacted Priceline, at which time I was informed that even though I checked the box for flight insurance as I always do, they did not have it. I conceeded that I might have to surrender the first leg of my flight, they told me not to cancel, that I could just pick up the return flight from Denver.

When I went to the Denver airport, the airline employees informed me that when I did not board my flight in Atlanta, Priceline applied for and got a full refund. Due to the kindness of the airline I bought another ticket for home at a cheaper rate than priceline offered. Priceline would not respond in thier customer service department by phone or email, and are hiding behind a no-show clause in the contract, even though I followed thier instructions by not taking the flight out.

They got paid money twice, once from me, once from the refund on my ticket. And the shame is that they are not even courteous enough to kiss me when they are done screwing me.
