Ripoff Failed to Disclose Tickets were Non-Refundable Before Purchase, They should also be sophisticated enough to abide by ethical business practices.internet

I want other potential customers to know that SANSA will refuse to provide refunds and does not disclose this policy before ticket purchases. I purchased two tickets for travel within Costa Rica ($200) in November but contacted SANSA to cancel my tickets one week before travel. SANSA refused to cancel my tickets. My receipt indicates that the tickets are non-refundable. However, I searched their website for any information that would have warned me that the tickets were non-refundable before I purchased them. Nothing.

In the US, I believe this would be false advertising (failure to disclose material facts). I contacted MBNA, my credit card company, for help in disputing the inappropriate charge for the airline tickets. MBNA apparently supports this business practice and informed me that they could not refund my money or help me dispute the charge.

Consumers deserve to be informed. SANSA is sophisticated enough to sell airline tickets over the internet, they should also be sophisticated enough to abide by ethical business practices.
