Hotels.com has no refund policy

I created two distinct space reservations about the telephone with hotels.com for 2 areas within the Days Inn Newburgh Stewart Intl resort. The areas were for disaster protection as a result of blizzard and power interruption. Hotels.com assured that there could be areas accessible however the charge could be non-refundable. I reached the resort plus they mentioned there have been no openings. I supplied the Hotels.com verification figures towards the worker. She mentioned that there is an issue with Hotels.com satellite and none of the reservations had attained the resort, plus they were not able to support some of hotels.com concerns. I named Hotels.com and described the problem for them. They set me on-hold for just one time. After SIX efforts of calling to obtain a reimbursement, I'm informed by every broker addressing the telephone the areas were reserved on the number refund plan. After detailing every time to each broker that no areas were accessible or supplied, I'm placed on store while they contact the resort. They go back to inform me that I'm right-about no areas accessible, plus they state that they'll stop the concerns, however it will require as much as thirty days to obtain a return. Then they state I'll get a verification mail the procedure has started within fifteen minutes. I never get the e-mail, so when I call-back the procedure is started once again using the same outcomes. 2 times they never delivered from store. It got me five minutes about the telephone to help make the reservation, have my cash removed, and obtain a contact with verification quantities. I've invested almost 5 hours about the telephone looking to get my money-back for providers guaranteed and not obtained. To top this down, I particularly requested Hotels.com when creating the concerns when they were certain I'd have areas accessible because of the present disaster. I had been guaranteed that Hotels.com includes a stop of areas reserved in the resort and never to fear simply because they need to have the areas available.
