Travelocity fraud, Top secret deals, bait and switch Internet

We were driving through West Virginia on June 17 and my wife logged on to her computer to find a hotel for us for the night in the Charleston WV area. We have used Travelocity.com many times before, and on their website Travelocity has a section called Top Secret Deals. They DO NOT tell you what the hotel is or the directions to it, only that it is in the area you have requested (we requested Charleston WV). Once you bid on it and are successful, they give you the hotel name and address.
The hotel they sold us, was in Sutton WV, NOT in the Charleston WV area. If you go to Mapquest.com you will see that Sutton WV is 66.95 miles away from Charleston WV. Hardly in the Charleston area.
My wife then called Travelocity to have it removed, but Travelocity stonewalled her and said, sorry all sales are final. Of course she ended up with some Indian woman in a callroom in India. My wife said we will handle it with American Express then.

Either Travelocity is stupid or this is a scam they randomly pull. They hide behind the internet, and are impossible to deal with. We have mentioned this to others, and were surprised to find several other people had similar problems with Travelocity. We are exploring the possibilty of a class action lawsuit against Travelocity. We reported this to our credit card company and they are investigating this as well.
