Orignial tcket was $278 on Hotwire and I flew Houston to Atlanta. Now add $375 (one way ticket home) subtract 1/2 price of original Fare ($139) minus $75 change fee =$311. Hotwire quoted me $311 to get home, because the date was set for a month (3-26) later than I meant it to be set (2-26). I didn't take this flight, but went direct to Airtran and got a ticket for $124.70 to fly home. Hotwire gave me a $62 credit toward another flight to turn in this fare that I had to fly from Atlanta to Houston 3-26-11. Since they think this is worth $311, then I have ripped off $249.00 or if you considered it only half the ticket price they owe me $139. But take $75 off this... I get $62 back. I didn't notice it was the wrong month.By their rules you must change this in 4 hours of purchase. I printed this ticket, and left for the the airport in a hurry, not looking at my trip home, obviously. I don't know how the date got set wrong. But, the fix was not but an effort to rip me off. I will never use HotWire again.
