I recently purchased a ticket from Hotwire for my wife. We need to change the return flight and have contacted Hotwire several times and have not been able to have the ticket changed.
They indicated that all they can do is take down the information and have somebody contact us by telephone. I was told it would be within 72 hours and after almost a week - I contacted them again. As with the first attempt they simply explained they would return my call.
Several days later - they did call and I was not home to receive the call so they simply left a message. When I returned the call to Hotwire - I was told the same thing - "we will return your call"
It appears that Hotwire plays a telephone game of tag - likely hoping that you will ultimatly give up and either book another flight or simply not fly.
I will never use Hotwire again and suggest anybody thinking of booking flights with them to think again. Take my advice and book through the airlines directly so you don't have to experiece the poor customer service that Hotwire has to offer.
