TLG Great Fun somehow got hold of my information when I used priceline.com and has been charging me without my knowledge since March until this evening, Jan. I finally spotted the charge for $11.99 and looked online to see if I could figure out what the charge might be.
I called the company, was given a very unclear definition as to what their company does andI demanded that my membership be canceled. I also askedfor a refund and was told that i was "ineligible."
After looking online at many complaints from consumers I called back and told them that i will report them to the proper authorities. The representative interrupted me and said he's put me on hold to talk with his supervisor. He told me I'd be on hold for a minute or two. After several minutes, I hung up and called back and found out that there office was now closed, something the representative was clearly aware of and did not help to convince me of the legitimacy of their business.
I have contacted my bank and my congressman and plan to contact the better business bureau and Virginia consumer services. I encourage all of you to do the same. Clearly just complaining online isn't doing anything. Contact as many people as you need to.
It is a shame that such a company exists and is able to cheat innocent and unknowing people out of their money. Remember to check your bank account statements frequently and REPORT this company!!
