Points expired without warning

A couple weeks before my 13,000 factors from La Quintais commitment system strangely vanished, simply soon after getting my newest declaration. I sent their customer support division and was informed my factors had terminated, and they might reestablish them only when i recorded another stay in a La Quinta resort. State what? No warnings of expiring factors, etc. I sent them back seeking that my points be reinstated. They declare my factors were forfeited since I'dnot remained there lately enough. It was their response:
