Manager keeps putting me off for rhoppe's mistake

On 6/18/10 we found accomadations to our liking at Comfort Inn. On 6/19/10 we decided to book rooms for the Kalispell Fair. We all discussed the date and the clerk confirmed the dates in August 20 &21st, by looking at a broshure the clerk referenced from. We were told they were the last rooms and we were lucky for getting them. We then checked out of our room, she made reservations for the two days in August. During this time she told us a gay event called PRIDE was in Kalispell for the weekend and we chatted about the hotel and how to get points on Choice Privelages. A couple of weeks later we were coming home from a trip to Spokane and wanted to stay at the same motel and were told it was full, 10.000 people came to Kalispell for an Equistrian Event. Almost all the hotels were full. When we arrived at home the next day I called to ask how we could put our future stay on Choice Privilages. At this time I noticed that the confirmed days were not in August, but rather the clerk put them in June 20th & 21st. I was able to talk to a clerk named Kevin and he assured me that we were not charged. I then located my bank and they said we were charged for two nights, one which we did stay and one which the clerk had us staying on June 20, the money was taken from our bank account, the rate was $125.48. I called back and Kevin said he would follow up on this. He did find out we did not have reservation on the days we wanted and could only offer us one night with 2 queen beds and the other night a single on these days in August. I couldn't believe that the clerk had the wrong days and told him we needed two queen beds, so we declined and decided to not go to Kalispell fair (we have a handicap child and needed two queen beds). He said he would write the manager a note and explain everything so we would get a refund on the 2nd night we were charged. On Monday I was able to talk to the manager and she said she would research this and call back. Tuesday again the same reply, and today she said she was about to leave and again she would look into this. We have been very understanding through all of this, yet we are not being reimbursed nor given any answers. Rather, the manager is avoiding the problem and does not seen to think it is very important to give us an answer right now. I would like to also notify the Comfort Inn manager (chain of command), but when I asked, the manager said she was the one to talk to.
