Ramada Limited Misuse of credit card

Recently I made a reservation for the Ramada Inn Limited in Springfield, Ohio. This reservation was for a couple months from the day I made the reservation. I always like to make reservations in advace. The credit card was only needed they say for making the reservation and no charges would be made unless there is a no show on the date of the reservation.
3 days later I find out my card has been charged for almost $200.
I called the manager to find out what happened and he said I did not show up for my reservation, and that is why they charged my card. Here the actual reservation is several months from now. He did not and could not give me a explanation on what or why the charge was made but said the hold would be taken off on the charge, or pending authorization as they call it when they put your credit card thru with a charge for 1 nights stay at a hotel or motel.
Somehow something happened or else they cannot tell one month from the other at the Ramada in Springfield Ohio and got Charge happy and charged my card without double checking to see what the date of the reservation was for.
I have printed proof of what day the reservation was for and it was Not for the date the manager said I was suppose to be there but it is several months from now. Somehow they cannot read or tell months apart there and just maybe figured I would not know that I got charged till I got my statement from the charge company.
Now my funds are tied up for a while on that card till the hold gets taken off, which will be about 30 days from the day it happened.
Even though the hold was taken off according to the hotel manager my funds are still tied up with my card provider for 30 days from the date of the charge.
I cannot even do a chargeback as the funds are in Pending Authorization and I cannot access those funds that the Hotel put the Hold on.
I am only posting this complaint so others can see what I went thru and for them to be cautious in making reservations for the Ramada Limited in Springfield, Ohio.
Regardless if you make the reservation directly thru them or thru another booking website the hotel still gets a hold of your credit card information and they feel they are free to charge someones card whenever they want regardless if the charge is suppose to be done or not.
I do not recommend the Ramada Limited in Springfield Ohio as I am sure I am not the only person this has happened to.
The manager never offered me a apology for their mistake.
I will never stay at the Hotel again and I don't recommend it to anyone if they are going to treat a past customer like they did me.
I also filed complaint thru the main Ramada headquarters and also several other agencies.
