My family booked a vacation thru ims vacations (interactive marketing solutions)/to stay in conway sc at wild wings resort on july 18th - 22nd. We were sent confirmation and someone even called us that friday from the welcome center we had to check in at for the festiva company resorts to get our keys to confirm that we were still coming. When we arrive at the so called WELCOME CENTER!!! @806b highway 501 conway, sc 29526... We were told we could not stay at the resort bec me and my husband had just gotton married and had not changed our license to reflect that we lived together and they wanted us to sign a paper wanting our personal info and a major credit card number which we were not about to provide... We were also told that we would be charged a room tax to stay at the resort of $30.00 bec the government charges that and it was not added in the money that we had already payed to stay there. (which was taken out 2 times from our bank account) still waiting for that refund. That should have been the first clue we were going to get ripped off. We were treated so rudely by these people and i really feel sorry for the town of conway sc bec anyone who goes into that welcome center i am sure of will more than likely not return to that city EVER!!! I know we want!!! The first lady that told us we couldnt stay was extremely rude and just when i thought we couldnt be treated any worse i asked for the manager which her name was Milana boy was i fooled!!! This was the worst trip i have ever been on in my whole 34 years of life. They ruined our vacation!!! We had traveled 8hrs to get there with a 3yr old child who was very upset when we had to drive around another 4 hrs trying to find a place to stay bec all the hotels were booked around there. Then we actually find one and had to pay 125.00 for one night. And bec we had booked with this IMS VACATIONS we were given a number to call them bec the welcome center can tell u, u cant stay there but they have no numbers for u to call the companies they represent. When we got our paperwork out to call this ims vacations we couldnt reach anyone bec then again to our suprise they arent open except monday - friday from 9am-5pm and it was sunday of course so we were not able to reach anyone in that company (ims vacations) until the next day then we called the so called supervisor over the company James Culligan only to get his voicemail and we probably left him about 100 mesg's on monday alone only to never get a call back!!! I know shocking right!!! Finally we get ahold of someone from the ims 800# @ 10:00 am only to find that she was just a customer service rep and couldnt help us at all!!! I know shocker again right!!! IT GETS WORSE... I get the name of her supervisor which by the way doesnt come in untill 11am... And i was assured i would get some help when i called her so we had to check out of our hotel that we were in and then i get to talk to a supervisor (u know that one that i was assured would help me)... I spoke with this supervisor wanting answers as to why we had arrived and was told we could not stay at the resort especially since we had already paid twice and they had our money. She was trying to blame the resort (wild wings) so we decided to go to the resort and find out why since i got no answers from her. Well we arrived at the resort only to find out that they have no idea why we couldnt stay bec this company (interactive marketing solutions. Ims had cancelled our reservations and they had no idea why. Imagine that!!! They blamed ims and ims blamed wild wings resort... So calling ims again i asked for a supervisor over the one supervisor i had already talked to only to be placed on hold for 15 minutes and be placed into a voicemail. Which again i left a mesg and guess what no call back. So i call once more to try my best to talk to someone... Anyone!!! No one would help us so i asked for a number to the corporate office again placed on hold for another 20 minutes... Then the rep comes back and says they dont have a number to the corporate office but she had an address to the corporate office and i could write a complaint letter to them and then hung up... So believe me i will be sending that complaint letter to that address but i want expect to hear back!!! I have never been treated so badly by anyone in my life. Please dont plan your vacation with ims (interactive marketing solutions) if u want a vacation and to keep your money and not be treated like u are trash!!! To this day i still have no response from them and we are out over $ 1000.00 bec they chose to steal our money and ruin our vacation!!!
