We had booked a tour for April 19 in Riviera Maya Mexico. My husband and I needed to cancel the tour. We checked the companies website for their terms and conditions. The policy stated that if you gave them 48 hours notice, you would get a 100% refund. They asked for more information concerning the cancellation. When we told them it was a medical reason, they asked for medical information from a doctor to be emailed to them. None of these stipulations were stated on their website. The company had no problem taking your money, but wouldn't back up their policies. It is very frustrating when a company doesn't honor what they have in writing.
