Left With Nothing.
My wife & i started our vacation on a rainy Monday afternoon on Carnival Cruise Lines ship the Holiday. Due to the rain the ship was delayed from departure for 9 hours & of course resulting in losing one of our ports of call.
The dining area on the Lido deck was by far from clean & the food was compareable to Shoneys buffet. Sorry, Shoneys is better. The Four Winds dining room was definetly not a four star restaurant, more like two if that.
I was ten minutes late getting back to the ship Cozumel, Mexico. The ship was only about 100 yards from the pier. There was a pilot launch boat at the pier that could have taken me to the ship, but by the time the Capt. Answered the repeated radio calls from the ships agent, it was further away & the Capt. Woould not accept me onboard the ship.
So, there goes the ship along with my wife & me on the pier with a t-shirt, swimming shorts, shoes, & luckily my wallet. With the help of the ships agent, I got back to New Orleans before the ship. I spoke to the Chief purser Holly, who lied like a dog & said that I could board in morning to help my wife with everything.
To total it up, I lost about $900.00 with no chance of reclaiming any of it. Oh yea there was a Croatian crew member in a white waiters uniform that was hitting on my wife the last night of the cruise.in front of our friends.
