Expedia.com False Radio Advertising, Shame on them!

I was going to Vegas with family for vacation and I kept hearing this ad on the radio from Expedia.com stating that if you book a hotel room for 3 nights you would get a $50 gas card per room. I was going with family and so we needed 2 rooms. I questioned the representative several times about when the cards are sent and I made sure to get confirmation that I would get the cards by making the reservations with them. Of course they couldnt give me confirmation in writing which should have been my first warning.in the meantime I told my family I would pay for the gas and just keep the gas cards when they came. A month went by and I didnt receive the cards. I called and the rep told me that I had to fill some form out and she would email it to me.
A couple more week went by, no email no form. I called again (now 2 months later) and I was told the cards had been mailed and I had to wait till the end of the month. I just called again today (now 3 months later) and they had the gall to tell me that because the dates I booked the hotel for were outside the dates of the promotion I wasnt eligable for the gas cards. I very clearly recall the ad saying as long as I booked the rooms before the promotion ended I was eligable. I asked the rep at the time to make sure. Had this not been the case I would have had my family chip in for gas. All I have to say is false advertising is illegal and if I had a bigger voice I would make sure they paid for it.
