True Vacancy Or Cancun Vacancy
Ripped off

On June 9, I received a fax stating I could take a 6 day all-inclusive vacation. I called the phone number and was told it would cost $878.00. I gave them my credit card information and shortly thereafter I received a brochure in the mail, along with a reservation form (a copy is enclosed) whereby I had to mail them a check for $198.00. I called them and got the website information (which is www.cancunvacancy.com) and then called them and told them what place I wanted to stay at. It didn't matter which place I chose and when I wanted to go, they never had any rooms available at that time. This went on for several weeks. I would call them and give them the name of a place I wanted to stay, and again they told me no rooms were available.

Once when I called, I was told someone would call me back and let me know what was available, but no one ever called me. Each time I have tried to contact them, I either get a busy signal or a recording to leave a voice mail message. I have left messages three times, but still yet, received no return call.

I just got off the phone with my credit card company and they are issuing a credit in the amount of $878.00. I still wanted to get my $198.00 back, so I wrote to the Attorney General in MD, where I live. They tried, but unfortunately the address for True Vacancy no longer is available for them. I'm just glad I was able to get the $878.00 back, but I still want my $198.
