I received a Voice Mail from a company called LRS Ligation on or about 06/06 telling me that either I or my attorney contact them within 24 hours. They said if they didn't hear from my attorney or me within 24 hours, they would contact my place of employment. The phone number given was 216-644-1249. I made repeated calls to this number but received voice mail saying voice mail was full and they could not accept new messages. They gave me the option of leaving my call back number, which I did many times. Finally a man answered. He said had something to do with a payday loan I had acquired in 2008. I did not such thing. He said he was an attorney and was only acting on behalf of this creditor and that I could settle the debt by phone. I told him I was not paying a damned dime until I saw the documents that I either electronically signed or hard signed. He said he would do some more investigating and get back to me. Today 06/11 at 5:29 PM Central Time I received a voice mail that was listed as unknown. The Voice Mail was from the same company. Only this time it was a woman who said I or my attorney had 4 hours to call them. The phone number she left me to call was 216-217-5948. I called this number and received the same voice mail stating that the voice mailbox was full and could not accept messages. Again, I was given the option of leaving my call back phone number. I made 46 calls to this number and left my call back number. It is now 9:12 Central Time and no one has called me. What can I do about these harassing calls? Should I file a complaint with the FTC, the US Attorney General's Office, or my State Attorney General's office? Please advise, as this is causing me tremendous stress.
