We received a fax telling us about this great cancun vacation. We called the phone number and asked if there were any catches any added charges other than the tips and gratuities that they told us about. They said no. They gave us this website mycancunvacation.com to look at the options of places to stay. We looked and chose two properties that we would be interested in. We told our friends about it and we booked for seven people. We called back and asked about these properties and were told they were fine to stay at at the price we were going to pay. We paid a non refundable amount.
We then received in the mail booking papers that we had to mail in with a $99 fee. When they contacted us to complete the reservations, we were told that we had three places to choose from. None of them being the one we wanted. The three are all low budget hotels with poor reviews. That even if we wanted to stay at the property we wanted, which isn't available anyway we would have to pay an additional $200 in upgrade fees. Which was never mentioned originally. All we want is to stay at the property we should have been able to or we want our money back.
