Said I had won a free holiday then asked for my Visa Credit Card numbe

On 17/03 I visited a website and got a popup message saying I was the X numbered person to visit and therefore I had won a free Bahams cruise. The website then asked if I wanted to travel on 16/05 and requested my contact telephone number.
At approx 9.00 A.M. Wednesday 01/04 I received a telephone call from Janna giving the itinerary of the trip - Orlando 6 nights/7 days staying at the Radison or Hiltonm hotels, Fort Lauderdale 2 nights/3 days, 7 day Car rental or 2 - 2 day Universal Theme Park tickets. The trip was for 4 people and was to be taken within 18 months. Jay told me the tickets would be posted and I should received them within 2 weeks. Jay gave me 2 telephone numbers to call - 001 800 231 3760 if I had any more questions and flight bookings to USA 001813 676 8900
The call was then transferred to Jay who asked for my Westpac Visa Debit card number, which I gave. He then transferred the call to another telephone extension where I was given a confirmation number - 17527008

Wihin half an hour I went to my bank to see if the transaction of US$998.00 could be stopped. They put a block on my Debit Card but about 2.00 P.M. The bank confirmed the electronic transaction was waiting to be updated to my Bank Account and could not be stopped.
