Friday 28th May 7.30am receive a phone call asking me if I remember filling out a offer to win a holiday in the bahama and florida. I responded yes i did I was then told i had won a trip for 4 people to spend 7 days and 6 nights in orlando also offering theme park tickets or a 7 day rental car also 3 days and 2 nights in florida. Then as a additional cost of $299 us dollars per head we board a 8 level cruise ship with a water slide for 4 nights which included meals entertainment etc... The only thing i had to pay were our airfares and if we contacted them 45 days prior to our holiday date which we had 18months to actually take they would organise discounted airfares... All i needed to do do was pay $998 us dollars to secure my prize using visa or master card details... Idiot idiot idiot
I was asked if i was familiar with quantas airlines yes of cause i was not thinking anymore about it... FRAUD
I was then transferred to a comfirmation of details dept where a man confirmed my address email bank card details. I was told my bank card details were to get verification from my bank that the funds of $998 us dollars were accessable basically.
I was having doubts about doing this and I wish i had of gone with my gut feeling but instead I told him i would have to ring my husband and discuss this with him before i make any decisions he told me to take my time and if this was a fraud he would not of spent the last 25 mins on the phone with me from the US. He even talked this winning up to the extent that my little boy who is 5 would be able to have breakfast with all the characters at disneyland... I am so so mad... Arghhhh
I was given a phone number to contact them which of cause does not exist an address to correspond with them which of cause does not exist...
Then i was transferred to a woman by the name of shelley who told me our phone call would be taped and a voice over came on saying recording turned on then she proceeded to re confirm all my credit card details address and email.
I was then given a confirmation receipt no a phone number to contact them with any questions (which of cause does not exist) was told i would receive my package in 14 to 21 days.
I had this gut feeling all morning so i did a search on the internet and OMG cannot believe i have been such an idiot.
Have cancelled my card they have already frozen the funds which will prob be taken over the weekend or on monday when from there my bank will do a trace...
I know i will have to fight to get my money back but trust me i will give every bit of energy i have... I never thought there were people out there that would have the gaul to do something like this but i can assure you i will never get caught again
