My husband and I, while on vacation, were approached in the lobby of New York, New York and asked if we wanted free tickets to a show for a 30 minute to one hour presentation. What a couple of fools to accept.
We were taken to the resort along with several other couples and listened to a presentation as a group and then sent to tables with their professional sales people. We told the salesperson several times that we could not afford to buy a timeshare, so they brought over their high pressure "manager" to assure us that we could. They made everything sound so perfect and threw in the 6 "worthless" trips that we could use with our families. What a joke that turned out to be. They keep you at the resort, because they drove us over there, until they get you to sign their papers buying a worthless timeshare.
They also start calling you before your payment is even due, not once a day either, but sometimes 6 to 8 times a day. They call your work, your home, your cell phone constantly. You cannot make any reservations, until everything is paid, and there are always more and more things to be paid.
This timeshare is nothing but a ripoff and if anyone is interested in a class action suit, please count me in.
