This "cruise" was a complete disgrace. The Alamo rental people were rude when we did not want to upgrade. The welcome center in Ft. Lauderdale were inhospitable and not caring. The hotel stay itself was bad. We were charged for a safe we did not ask for or use. We were asked to go to a timeshare presentation that we had to drive to for over an hour and had to listen for 3 hours.
The boat was a complete disappoinment. It was old and the standard room they put us in was on the lowest floor and we had to take many turns to reach it. To move to a different room we had to pay an additional $149.
From the moment we entered we were bombarded with extra tours to buy. Water bottles had to purchased for $2.50. The conversation with other passengers was how badely they had been treated.
We then had to drive to Orlando for four hours. At this "welcome center" we again had to wait to talk to the single staff member and were told that if we wanted to get tickets for Universal studios we would have to to another time share presentation at a different location.
We had had enough and did not even stay at the Ramada Hotel. This unhappy and frustrating trip cost us close to $1500.00 and lot of annoyance. We pray that this scam can be stopped and the responsilbe people punished. Our money should be returned to us with apologies.
