Deceptive business practices in order to generate income

Had a business trip planned to the west coast. AIRTRAN had some issues with the plane out of out of Atlanta to LAX, it never went. Of course, I had everything for my trip planned (hotel, car rental, etc.). When I called the same day (before 5PM PST) to explain there were airline difficulties, I was told "to bad", this Comfort Inn refused to refund my money for the night's stay.

Just be aware, that when you go on the Comfort Inn national website to make reservations, place close attention to when individual hotels show their cancellation policies. This particular Comfort Inn didn't make its "no refunds" policy known until I clicked on the Submit button for the reservation.

I even filed a report with the local LA Better Business Bureau. Next step in the credit card company.

Even AIRTRAN refunded my money...
