I went to a sales promo meeting for VIP Travel to learn about a Vacation Club time share. The three promotions for listening to their spiel were 2 free airfares, $300 in free gas coupons, and free 7-day car rental with a $75 deposit. I did not act on the airfares and am still pursuing the gas vouchers. This also is beginning to look like a futile effort.
My main complaint is that when I tried to make a reservationm for my free car rental I find that the web page no longer exists. When I tried to find a phone number at the address given on the form for Greenbrier Promotions there was no such business listed at that address.
Thank goodness I did not just send in my $75 deposit for the car rental because I most likely would not get it back, and I shudder to think the mess I would be in if I had opted to buy into VIP Travel's vacation club plan.
I'm not sure just where to place the blame. Is it VIP Travel or is it Greenbrier Promotions who is to blame or are they partners in crime?
