As an incentive for opening up a new account with our local bank (Huntington), my wife and I received a reservation form for a 4 Day / 3 Night Vacation Get-A-Way to either Las Vega, NV; Smokey Mountains, TN or Williamsburg, VA.
We opted to take the Las Vegas vacation.in order to have our room reservations "guaranteed", we were required to send in a Money Order in the amount of $100.00. The deposit was listed as "fully refundable" upon checking in at our destination, or if we decided to change our minds on taking the vacation.
We sent in our $100.00 Money Order to Perfect Travel Promotions on 4/21/08.By 6/1/08 we still have not heard anything from the company regarding our reservation form. We called and left messages with "Mike" and "Melissa"on 6/18/08,6/30/08,7/2/08 and again on 7/22/08. Each time we left voice mail messages requesting the company to refund our $100.00 because we have not heard from them and felt that they were not keeping up their end of the deal. As of 8/26/08, we still have not heard anything from the company.
We decided that we were probably scammed out of our $100.00 and have since rebooked our vacation with a reputable firm. Travelers, this report is intended to serve as a wake-up call to all travelers that Perfect Travel Promotions is not a reputable vacation club company to deal with.
If you check the web you will find several unhappy customers that thought they would be enjoying a vacation get-a-way that was offered by Perfect Travel Promotions. Those unhappy customers found themselves in the same situation that we are in, no vacation reservation, and out of the money that we initially invested. Be aware, and be smarter than what we were. Do not send any monies in to Perfect Travel Promotions for a vacation get-a-way, unless you want to be scammed-away from your investment.
