I made a reservation on line for 3 nights. Shortly after I made the reservation over Christmas my plans changed and I tried calling an emailing. But had no luck. The following day I called the 1 800 number and was told tough luck, that the individual hotel would not refund any of my money as I had agreed to a special rate lower than average prices. I did not agree that the total amount would be charged to my credit card immediately and there would be no refunds.
I emailed the same address a second time stating my complaint and the fact that my first email was not responded to. The individual said it was the first time he was hearing of this issue. After emailing me back for follow up details I never did get an answer from him or a final email stating their policy. I would never deal with the company again.
