I recieved a promotional offer in the mail from ramada plaza resorts. They said it was a survey, and that I was refered by one of my major credit card companys. When I first called the lady was very excited about offering this to me, saying it was a one time offer, and a deal i wouldn't want to pass up, because i could not call back. She ascked for my confermation number off a 1,600.00 check they sent me off any cruise. The more and more resistant i was to the offfer the more and more she had to offer.
They asked to check my credit limit to see how much i could put down, claiming to have axess to all of my information from visa, they asked for my credit card number to check, then she asked me to estimate about how much i had on there, i said about 350.00, and when she came back on the line she said she had charged. At this time had given her no permission to charge my account, i had told her i did not want this deal. She became very defensive and critisizing toward me.
I insisted i did not want this deal, then finally she got a supivisor on the telephone and he said that the 350.00 would drop off with in three days, It has been one day and i am waiting to see it drop.
