In early Aug I used Cruise Value Center to book a 5 night Western Caribbean cruise for two scheduled for December. I chose CVC because of the choice of a premium offered with purchase - Either all tips paid or free travel insurance.
I chose all tips paid and elected to purchase travel insurance for an additional $107.
Much like Pam in Rockledge - Now, three weeks prior to departure, I received a letter from the insurance provider that the policy was invalid due to no receipt of payment from CVC.
Repeated attempts to contact CVC through their 800 number, direct line or to their corporate offices have failed. Frequent disconnects or finally timing out after extended hold periods have forced me to give up.
Beware using this company. Pam didn't receive her promotional premium. I lost $107.
They are not to be trusted. Deal with a locally accessible, reputable travel agency like xxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Save yourself the grief of not having anywhere to turn when you have a problem.
