14 of us stayed at this kip of a hotel the last weekend in september on the saturday night
When we were checking in i asked for a smoking room and i was told to "just smoke out the window"
The smell in the place was awful it was a horrible fusty smell
Our room hadnt even been cleaned properly
The floors werent hoovered
There was pee stains dried in on our bathroom floor
Cob webs all over the place
WE had a kettle with squashed tea bags and sugar in our room but
no coffee, milk or cups to drink out of...
The next morning it took 30 mins for breakfast to arrive out to us it was cold and i got pink sausages which put me off eating any of it
The room where we had breakfast was filthy from the night before even though it was 10.45 in the morning our feet stuck to the floor it was that dirty
All in all the place was more like a hostel than a hotel which would be fine except we booked into a hotel and paid 140 for a double room for the night it was a disgrace
The web site boasts of it being newly refurbished, spotless clean, etc trust me the hotel is none of these and even the pictures of ther hotel are a con the shhets on the bed werent even ironed and the were the cheapest of the cheap duvet covers not what i expect from a hotel at all
I have phoned the hotel twice to complain the first time my name and number was taken the second time i spoke with a very polite young girl who was very helpful and took downb all my details of the complaint but im still awaiting a call froim the "manager/owner"
