Woogo Never ever make reservations with Woogo and here is WHY?

I would like to file a complaint towards Woogo for your unacceptable service, poor apartment conditions (not even close to what the picture shows), and indifferent attitude towards customers. Please read the following:

It was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had so far in my life. It all happened when I was about to arrive New York from Ontario, Canada on August 8th night around 9pm, which is my first time travelling to New York in my own car. I didn't get to the right location due to a mixed up of the city's naming conventions. (Manhattan and Brooklyn are both called New York, NY on google map).

I went to Brooklyn, NY instead of Manhattan, NY and it's a terrible coincident that there is also a 249 at E 52nd Street, and it was a construction site and the surrounding area are warehouses and factories, which is not part of the city center whatsoever, so I called Woogo for help. Tracy picked up the call; it was August 8 night at 9:30pm. She kept asking me to check for a intercom and insisted there must be one next to it. I kept describing the surrounding neighbours and she made me sound like an idiot. I mean, the way I described the place with warehouses, factories and such, I am sure had given enough information that I am at a totally different place! She said she would try calling the Property Manager with an attitude! That's very frustrating and I said I had to cancel the reservation due to the mixed up and might end up sleeping on the street or car. She said I will still be penalized for one night's rate. That is totally unacceptable.

Finally, with some help by someone on the street not Woogo, I realized I came to the wrong city, I called and Tracy was gone for the night! I left an urgent message with my Canadian cell phone but NOBODY called or should I say even CARE to follow up! What if I am lost in somewhere and had no place to stay!

It didn't end there, I finally got to the right location at almost mid-night, I used the intercom to check in, I got in. The property manager explained almost nothing about the place except the door combination when I checked in. I didn't even know the keys are on the table! My friends and I were disappointed about the condition of the apartment but it's in the city center for the convenience and it's apartment hotel, and we needed a place to stay at 1am, so we lived it with, BUT there was NO COLD WATER in the shower! I've had it but it's was late so I called the Property Manager the next day, he did say he would fix it but it didn't happen, there was no cold water still the 2nd night. Imagine showering with hot boiling water! We had to use a bowl, took water from the tap of the sink, mix that with hot water to a bearable temperature and pour it over our bodies to do the showering! Also, the toiler bowl was hissing all night long making an unbearable noise disturbing our sleep. That's even worse than a 3rd world motel.

I checked out the next morning and I will never, ever use Woogo again and I will spread the word around as I was referred to Woogo from a friend as well. My friends and I are very, very, very disappointed about our stay with Woogo. Thank you very much for nothing. I did enjoy my stay at New York city, which was fun and exciting with Woogo became a terribly bad and memorable hotel experience in our lives. We are TOTALLY pissed!

To close this complaint, I demand a 75% discount on the stay I had with Hotel 52 from Woogo. I DO NOT want any coupons for future reservations as I will never hire Woogo again. I demand the discount to be given right away, please reduce it directly from my credit card for the August 8 to August 10 booking which I was charged $640 USD for the 2 nights. You gave me less than 25% an apartment hotel with minimal service, so I should pay only 25%. Make sense? It's almost to a point like steam coming out of our ears that I would like to call a Press conference about this, or report it publicly on a webiste or even file a complaint to the Travel Industry Association of America and I am dead serious.
