Am totally frustrated on my booking for the Golden Dec. 10, Hawaii 14-day round trip:
Saturday, Denine Hines of Princess quoted me a price of $1199 for an M-class room but told me I would need to contact Travelocity to get them to lower my fare and put me in the "M" class. I did just that, but the base fare now reads $1269.
I have tried IN VAIN to get an answer from Travelocity or from Princess as to the difference between the quote and the final reduced fare.in fact, I was yelled at by one of Princess' weekend booking agents, when I called to ask. I was scolded for "breaking policy" in asking about fares. I was told it was not Princess' duty to tell me anything, and that the relationship with travel agents went above all else. Gee. I thought
it was the passenger who paid the bills.
I only want to know why the fare is $140 more than the quoted price from Princess less than 15 minutes before it was "redone."
Today I called Travelocity, and they were going to contact you and get back with me. I've heard nothing.
Come on, Princess. I have sailed 15 times with you!!! (Not counted on my Captain's Circle is a transatlantic, and two other cruises). Can't you
at least tell me why there is a difference?
I am so frustrated, I am ready to call it quits—especially after the Princess booking agent on Saturday yelled at me and hung up on me when I asked
for a supervisor.
