Epedia charged me $25 for cancelling my hotel reservation. I cancelled my reservation 8 days before check-in date.
Representative of expedia stated that the charge was made by the hotel. I called the hotel and they denied this and told me there was no charge for cancellation as long adequate notice is given (more than 72 hours). Icalled Expedia but they would not put me through to the supervisor despite several attempts. Each time putting me on hold for prolong periods of time (last time almost one hour: my cell phone battery went flat). Obviously their way of avoiding to deal with a complaint. Expedia did not answer my email.
