I was nervous about buying a vacation over the phone, but the names they were using, "Ramada, Carnival" are familar and well known, so I trusted the reputations of those big companies as being legit. Also, I was very impressed with the travel package material they send. Not cheap and very classy looking.in the package I received a notice of a chanch to win free airline tickets. Just fill out the card and send it back. It was preaddressed, so I put a stamp on it and dropped it in the mail. A few days later it came back and was stamped "Undeliverable as addressed" I thought that was strange, so I decided to check the address on the internet. What came up was this website.
I couldn't believe it! Why would other outstanding companies like Ramada and Carnival be involved with scam people like these? These even use the name Radisson on some of their materials. What does that say for companies like Alamo and Imperial? Makes me more than a little afraid to trust any of these companies.
I called to cancel this trip and asked for a refund. They pulled the same tricks again, saying they would credit my money toward some other trip. They argured with every comment I made. Finally, I asked the rep, Gerson Petit, (He spelled it out for me) if they would give me my money back or not. He said no, to bad for me, but he couldn't or wouldn't help me.
I have since filed a complaint with my credit card company and am filing a complaint with the Florida Better Business. I think everyone should write a letter to the other companies named on this paperwork, and let them know we will not do business with them if they are affiliated with this ripoff!
