I rented the worlds longest limo from this guy for a month long tour.
The first night we took it out on the town, the thing broke down.
I thought I was renting it from him but right before the contract started, he sold the limo to a poor guy named Sean in MN, site unseen.
This limo broke down too many times to count costing me a lot of lost opportunity (Vegas Primary, Super Bowl Weekend to name a few.) Just to keep it running so we could return it to Chicago cost $5000 in repair bills which he feels that I should pay... About 2 weeks after the limo was returned, the thing had an electrical fire because Bob jumped the starter which blew the circut breaker and burned down the limo! I feel for this guy Sean who got conned into buying the piece of $#! T Now hes about to lose everything cause he didnt have fire insurance on the car!!!
Anyways, to make matters worse, Limo Bob skipped out on his half of our hotel bill and put his room on my credit card. (close to $2000 total) An agreement we have in writing that he was to pay because I bought all the dinners and drinks for he and his family.
I then shipped him some cleansing products cause he said he was full of $#! T ($600 worth) and received no payment as of 3/11/08
His driver then stole my credit card and charged it for hundreds of dollars worth of stuff after the contract ended! (now I have to dispute everything which is a pain in the @$)
On top of it, he sends me a $600,000 bill for the limo because he says I broke my contract and that it was my fault that the limo burned down. (he has a contract made up in his head that I was going to rent the limo for a year for $30k a month!) Thats what Sean told me Bob told him to get him to buy the limo in the first place!
What a joker (that could probably be considered fraud). Now I have to stand in line for a lawsuit against this guy if he doesn't keep flying to FL to avoid being served papers. You could try his moms house at 5320 63rd Ave N Pirollas Park FL 33781 or the plaza at st petes beach near tampa. He has 2 homes, one is a penthouse condo with a great view and one is in the burbs, cant find those addresses.
Hes an easy guy to get along with and fun to be around. Watch out, he will try anything he can to rip you off. He doesnt have a merchant account because of, Im sure after reading this site, other disgruntled clients, DONT PAY IN FULL IF PAYING IN CASH UNTIL AFTER THE CONTRACT IS COMPLETE, if you pay with a card, you might want to inform the sucker he's got excepting the card and is giving BOB the cash up front to grow a brain and show him this site. If you are not happy with the service, hes the one that gets hurt, not big limo bob... Sean got suckered into being Bobs merchant and has told me of quite a few unhappy clients of bob charging back on his account.
For every 1 complaint that is filed Im sure there are 10 others that arent...
What I would like from Bob is: At least $1500 for the hotel bill, $650 for the cleanses, $5000 to cover the repairs paid to Sean and another $5000 for the 8 days the limo wasnt running during the rental agreement. (I was paying $650 a day for it...)
All in all, I think Limo Bob could be an amazing business man if he would consider how important having a good reputation is and to not break his word. If he would focus on win win situations and not only himself he could go really far. Until then, WATCH OUT
