I too was a victim to this scam and thought that I would have to just take the fact that I had lost all my money... And chalk it up to a lesson learned. I won't bore you with all the details... As it is very similar to all the other horror stories on here. This is to give you all HOPE! I just received confirmation that I have received a full refund!!! Yes, I can't believe it either.
I stumbled upon this website and followed the advice given by another person on here. I wrote a letter of complaint to the office of Mr Charles H. Bronson. He is the commissioner of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. As with so many others, I was skeptical about having any success. But, I emailed a letter anyway.
I received a prompt reply telling me that they had sent a letter to Ramada Plaza Resorts and that they had 60 days to reply. I received a letter dated January 22, stating that Ramada Plaza had credited my credit card in full amount. I went online to check, and there it was. I am writing this to give others hope... Don't give up. Send the necessary letters and hopefully you will get the same result as me.
