January 8 Re: Calypso Cay
Was called by a representative from this company stating I had won an all expense paid trip to Disneyworld and other attractions in florida. After he explained all the wonderful things that were included and before giving me a confirmation number. He advised that I would be charged $249/person for taxes, etc., and wanted to confirm the expiry date of my credit card.
At this point I immediately stopped him and said, " I do not pay anything if I have won something, and it is free and in no way do I give a credit card number or expiry date".
After a few seconds pause, a lady caller came to the phone, and repeated the same thing, and again I repeated what I had told the previous caller, at this point I was annoyed firstly by the nuisance call and secondly because I could smell a scam, so I hung up the phone - end of scam call.
