On the 5th of November, I got a phone call from Calypso Cay resort and I also fell for it, they are really professional on getting credit card details and taking any amount they wish, as they did to me too.
In spite of cancelling my credit card in the next few minutes after I spoke to them, it seems that it was too late they took 328.00, I did not authorise for this amount or any other, I gave the details to confirm only that I was VISA credit card holder to be able to get this offer.
However as advised from previous people with similar situation I will dispute this amount taken from my credit card account from Calypso Cay Resort and hope for the best that I get my money back.
This Resort can not continue doing this scams, somebody has to stop them. They even phoned me again on the 25th of November as I requested by email and could not even confirm my holiday package and dates requested, instead they wanted to upgrade whatever it is and asked for more money.
When I said that if they can not even confirm what I payed for already, I wanted to cancel, she told me that I could not do so, even though I was told to be able to cancel within 30 days. This must not continue, I am very upset to have being fooled, hopefuly I will be able to dispute this transaction with my bank who should investigate this resort and its scams further.
