We attended a representation of First Travel in October. We too had to pay $3000 for the membership. Several promises were made by the so called "Club" in which the promises were never met. We were told that we would be receiving "club cards" we've never received them. We had made several calls to this company and always had to leave a message. It was almost impossible to get a return call.
We even e-mailed Sammy Payne who we were told was our account representative on several occassions with no response. We ended making reservations on two trips ourselves through a different travel agency. We have mailed them a cancellation letter in fear that they may try to EFT the yearly renewal fee from our account. We have also notified our bank.
It's a shame that we as human beings are still so trustworthy and companies like this don't give a damn.
