Wyndham, Fairfield Resorts Wyndham lied, and does not care!

My husband and I recently went on our anniversary trip to Tn. It was our first time using our timeshare. Although the room was nice, just a couple of things needed tending too, the storm was about to brew. We were told at check in that someone would be bringing a welcome packet and they set up a time 2 days after our check in.

On that day we received an early wake up call saying they would be there at the designated 9am time. We were up and waiting and no one showed up until almost 930. The young woman did apologize for being late, introduced herself as "Michelle" and seemed to be very pleasant. Hah! She talked to us for a few, presented me with a nice Wyndham bag and some Tn. Tourist books, then let us know that first of all our interest rate was too high, she was going to get that way down, as well as our payments a month, that we overpaid them and Wyndham actually owed us $388.

We were also told that when we signed with them that we were VIP's for only two years and she was going to keep us as VIP's permanently! She also wanted us to tour the new penthouse that was just added to the property and when she contacted us about the other things she just talked to us about we could take a 5 minute survey and she would get us dinner gift certificates. Michelle told us to enjoy our vacation, don't worry about a thing she would get a hold of us in a day or two and even got our cell numbers.

When she left my husband and i commented on how nice she was and how glad we were that we had our timeshare, we even went straight on over and toured that stupid penthouse. WE NEVER HEARD OR SAW HER AGAIN!!! We told the front desk about it the night before we left, they gave us a number to call, we told them about it when we checked out and they just shrugged their shoulders. We are now wanting to sell our timeshare with Wyndham!!!
