On August 18th I decided to try to secure lodging in Champaign, IL on November 2nd. I have used Priceline.com about a dozen times in the past and had much success with it.
I submitted 4 bids and each were rejected, which I have no qualms with. The 5th bid I submitted I got. I noticed though that somehow the date was for August 18th to August 19th.
I immediately thought I made the mistake, but I am sure I put the right date in. After reading all of the other computer errors others submitted with their usacomplaints.com on Priceline.com, I am certain I did.
I thought Priceline.com is a reputable business and they would just refund the charge. I was wrong. After several phone calls and emails, all they would do is cancel the reservation and charge me $25.
This is nothing compared to the other ripoffs I have read. I have disputed the charge with my credit card. Priceline.com is not the only game in town.
