My Fiancee after entering a drawing for a car, received a phone call from Sunshine Vacations. The Promo was she had won a 2 night 3 day with air fare, and a $ 15.00 gas card. All that was required was a 1 hr presentation. We arrived early, and after a very short wait was taken to a nice and sunny room.
The Sales person was very friendly, showed pictures of Him with His Mother, complemented my Fiancee on her engagement ring. Etc... After listening to His sales pitch, and finding the rates of a loan for this Vacation Package as high as 16.75%, we replied it was not worth it.
Our sales person (Pete, not his real name) went to get his Manager, for what we were told was the conclusion of the presentation, and Pete (not his real Name) said The Manager would tell us about the Trip which was won. This turned into another sales pitch.interest rates much lower, and some adjustment to the number of vacations in a life time. We continued to state, we wanted to pray and think about this. This went on for another hour.
Finally we were lead out of that office into another waiting room. Supposedly for the Vacation Package.
Still yet another sales Presentation. They throw Dollars and time payments very fast at you.in all, the packages ranged from $24,000 to $12,000 to $2,400 to the final around $559.00
At last very rudely we were given Her information for the air fare and hotel stay. However you have to meet their requirements and fly out where they say. Still waiting to hear on this.
However, you are thrown Dollar amounts and trip amounts very fast, and they give you very little time to think about it. Several of the " Managers" were the size and appearance of previous "Bouncers" They cross examine you better than a police detective would.
In all the 1 hr presentation, was 2 3/4 hours.
Still did not recieved the $15.00 gas card.
Be Prepared and take someone along whom is good with facts and figures, also someone who has your interest at hand.
