We became members at Inn Seasons, Vacation Club, several months ago.
Sadly, some of what was said about commitment to customer service has yet to materialize.
My credit card was billed $99.00 on Jan. 27th. This was the deposit for our
"free "week-end if we brought another couple with us, for a sales presentation.
I was told I could choose my own date. The people we invited were not interested. We looked for another couple. While doing this, a reservation sheet arrived setting a date for us. I had specifically stated I would set the date and let them know.
I responded, in writing, to the above address, cancelling it and asking my credit card deposit be refunded.
Sometime later, my wife received a call about the reservations. The female caller was rude and upset her. I spoke to the caller and told her the reservation had been cancelled in writing.
She said there was no record of this. She was not rude to me, just business like and quite uninterested. She had no record of my letter and apparently that was that.
I told her to cancel this reservation and credit my account. This was not done. The charge stayed on my cc bill.
In Feb. We spent some time in West Yarmouth taking advantage of our Bonus Time.
On the first night we did not get any sleep. Loud people in the room above.
On the second night, we did not get any sleep. A rather loud party above our heads. Different people this night. Employees of Inn Seasons.
My daughter went up about 1:00 AM to ask them to quiet down. They did not. There was no one on duty at the desk to help us. My daughter went upstairs yet again.
She received a profuse apology and learned that one or more of the occupants were employed in the Sales Dept in NH.
My daughter was told she would be called the following week and given a free week end, for the inconvenience. This call never came.
I wrote a letter of complaint to the above address. It went unanswered.
All in all the Inn Seasons experience has not been what I was lead to believe it would be. It is more like a comedy of errors and uncaring employees.
I am not willing to let such a large amount of money ride on such shoddy customer service or take a chance on future vacation endeavors ending up like what I have seen so far. I have asked for a refund.
Inn Seasons has informed me they have a "No Refund" Policy.
On May 9 I was notified by Stephanie Southworth a manager, that my complaint was sent up the chan of command. Two weeks later no response has been received.
