Did not let me know of no elevator service before checking in. Ripoff!

I called this hotel to confirm my reservation in advance and was never told that they were under construction and there was no elevator service. Was not told of this until after i checked in and asked for a cart to unload my luggage.

I was then told there was no elevator service as they were under construction and that I was on the third floor. I advised the front desk that I had my 71 year old mother with me who would have a hard time going up those stairs and to please put us on the first floor.

I was advised that they couldn't change me and that was all that they had even though it was 2:00 in the afternoon. I went to the front desk every day for three days to request a first florr and was adv to come back lagter in the day but when I went back, was advised that they had no rooms on the first floor.

My mom had to go and stay with a friend and sleep on their couch b/c she couldn't go up the stairs. The hotel refused to give me any money back and even thjough I checked out a day early b/c of this, I was advised no refund.
