July- august looking on the internet we found we had won a vacation package with calypso cay resorts. After my husband heard from them by phone he decided to pay the $299.00 american dollars.
They said we would receive a package brochure of the holiday in the mail within 1 month. After 6 weeks, then 8 weeks then 3 months since not receiving this info we decided this could be a scam and wanted out. We contacted them again and told them this. They sent paper work to us to sign and send back to cancel the trip saying our brochures had got lost in the mail.
We did this and still have not got our money back. We cannot afford to loose this money and we our both on pensions this money was savings and the holiday would have been for our daughter and her family.
They asked us to send copies of our bank statement to show that the trip had been paid for.in the meantime we had 3 phone calls from different people who said they worked for calypso cay in the offices wanting to know why we hadn't taken our trip after going the the story a hundred times this woman now still says it is not on her computer that we have paid. She said our money went to a company called R & S which she is saying has nothing to do with calypso cay resorts and yet we still get calls from people from calypso cay in different offices asking why did we not take our trip.
This womans name is carol adams the email address above is hers.
We have contacted the F.B.I.in orlando asking for help to get our money back but never heard anything. So I don't know whether they contacted this company or not.
We don't know who R & S is but it must have something to do with them as other people their have it on their computers that we have paid our money.
We email this woman every two too 3 weeks and have done now for 18 months or more and are sick and tired of it. We gave our money in good faith and want it back.
