I was also on the Nov. 9-13 Carnival Cruise Ship Ecstasy Voyage to Cozumel from Galveston but of course it did not happen. Yes... I know it was all planned and if you look at your Friday Morning "Carnival Capers" you will see it was all planned. The Caper stated that Stuart Dunn - our cruise director was going to give us a Travel Talk around 11am... (RIGHT!) so we where in the Blue Sapphire waiting... And around 11:15am Stuart gives us some song and dance that "he just was told moments ago that we will not make it to Cozumel but will have to go Port in Progresso"... (RIGHT)? NO, (Wrong) They lied and they knew about it before we got on the ship..."Why" I say this. Is because it's stated in that Friday Carnival Caper that Stuart will give us information about our Port of Call in Progressol, Mexico (HUH!) now how can that be in the am Caper but he just found out about it moments ago? They gave us some song and dance about engine problems and could not make it so they took us to Progresso. As the day unraveled we found out that there was a cruise earlier in Nov. And Sept they had that had the same issue with this ship. It seems as if we are paying to support a staving economy in Progresso rather than experiencing what we paid for in Cozumel. Any suggestions as to what we can do? We have the evidence it was all planned...
