We purchased a Cruise Package on March 2. Item was paid in full on September 1.
Cancellation insurance was bought at time of booking as listed on Agency Reservation Slip.
Trip was a 4 day Carnival Cruise from November 18-22. (Montgomery Gentry Cruise)
Due to an injury, we had to cancel our trip on October 9.

Except for a Receipt, we had not received any Documents from Kings Cruise for this trip and repeatedly emailed them about the refund Process, about the Cancellation Insurance Policy (since we never got a copy of the policy).

Lori King emailed us (10/9/04) telling us we would get 50% back from her and 50% back from Carnival minus a nonrefundable fee of $200.

She told us that she would forward the 50% refund to us in 4-6 weeks along with forms for the Doctor to file out.
We never got forms from Kings Cruise Agency as promised, or a Policy or any Help on Where and How to Fill out Forms for the Insurance Refund.

Kings Cruise sent a 50% refund after Thanksgiving but we still had to find out how to get Our Insurance Refund. Kings cruise sent no forms, just a note on the invoice: "Here is your 50% from us the rest will have to be collected from Berkely".

We looked on Carnival's website and found Berkely's web address.

We had no Policy Number and filled the online form the best we could, from what we could find on Carnivals site and waited.

Our last email to Lori King (12/8) was about The Poor Service and How her Company did not send Promised Forms and explaining we were lost with the process. Her response was "We do not handle insurance in any form, you stated Carnival gave you the information you needed, we fufilled our obligation".

Berkely sent a check (1-26-05) for only $300 not $1269, stating to contact our travel service supplier to determine if their is additional refund due.

After Months of filing complaints with the Georgia BBB, Attorney Generals Office (Georgia does not bother with Travel Complaints by the way but said they are watching this agency) Kings Cruise kept the 50% that they said Carnival was holding.

It turns out the Travel Insurance thay bought for us Did Not Cover Their Cancellation Policy! Something they made up along the way (it was never outlined on the reservation slip). Our Own Attorney in Pennsylvania said It was a Breach of Contract by Kings Cruise Agency but going to Georgia and Suing would cost us Thousands. We Lost $969.00 from this Con Company!

Please beware and do not USE Them.
