I was shocked at the service I recieved while trying to rebook my HONEYMOON CRUISE! My fiancee has been laid off for 7 months and we were fortunate enough that he found another job but... He cannot take the 4 days off to go. I called the agency several times throughout the year to ensue that if for some reason we have to reschedule, could we do that. They assured me on more than one occasion that this is acceptable so long as I pay $70.00 for the insurance. Okay, no problem. I called to let them know that I needed to add myinsurance and move my date forward... You won't believe this! They said they were going to cancel it and by the way, I had to pay $350.00 to cancel this cruise that I am not going to be able to rebook for a future date. WTF I tried to make point point to them but apparently Carnival said no and they said I was lucky that I did it in enough time that I did not have to pay 50% of the total cost of the cruise. That is $600.00 for a cruise I couldn't even go on and they had the nerve to remark that my fiancee getting a job is no reason to have to cancel. HELLO! Apparently they did not watch the news at all or understand that I had told them he had been laid off for more than 7 months but they don't give a crap. So beware, they make their prices seem great but Carnival Cruise Line and Cruise.com will find any way they can to screw you over. So not only I do not get to go on my honeymoon, they charge me $350.00 because of it. I guess every single income family in the US would be okay with that but hey, I guess these guys can do whatever they want to whoever thay want and no one does anything about it. Stay away from carnival cruise lines and cruise.com they will rob you!!!
