I was looking at purchasing airline tickets through Hotwire.com. I had entered the important information that I needed. I just clicked on the link to read the Terms and Conditions when my computer froze up and screen went blank. There was nothing except a dark screen.
I went to another computer and explained what happened and the customer rep. Said that the tickets had been purchased and I stated that couldn't be possible because I had pushed no confirmation but customer said I had to. Then customer rep went on to give me three different versions of what I supposedly agreed to, but didn't.
Also, it took 2 days to get a confirmation from the. I was planning on purchasing tickets on my mom's credit card. She and the I called and explained what happened. Was told that a block would be put against the purchase, but the purchase went through.
Now I am stuck with $438.00.in the mean time I purchased airline tickets with other company. Just be careful when purchasing anything on line and DO NOT PURCHASE ANYHTING FROM HOTWIRE.com they don't believe in customer service at all.
