Ripoff Charged for rooms that were canceled

I booked a room for 2 days on there site. They were 2 nights for work at the Days Inn of Monroe, NC. Later that afternoon I was informed that the work to be done was not going to happen till the fallowing week. I called to cancle room and the agent said I had to do it before the date listed in a E-mail when I booked.

I lloked up the e-mail and found that the canle date was 2 days prior to my reservation. My nights were for and booked 10-25 and I had to cancel prior to 10-23 0800 Central Time. I cancled the same day I booked this room at 2:00 pm EST 10-25. I called many times and notice my expense card was charged for $117.98 for the room.

When I called i was told becouse I did not read there police that I would be charged. I told the person on the phone, that I was in there guide lines becouse there guide lines were incorrect and I can't for see the futru that I want to cancle something before I make it. All of there websites are the same.

All there information is real hard to find. If you send and e-mail no one calls you. I just want my $117.98 minus the $25.00 cancle fee. I would be happy to give up the $25.00 but not $117.98 for something they know is worng.
