I am so glad that I found this site tonight, really it just saved me $750 I was going to spend tomorrow. I purchased a "great vacation" in November for my girlfriend and I. I was only 20 at the time, but they sold it to me anyways... Even though I learned that you have to be 21 to take the vacation.
So their scam begins by selling to an under age customer. I only paid half the vacation package at the time $449 charged to my credit card. Good thing I only did that. I was going to pay the other $449 and the additional $298 for port charges for my cruise. The entire package totaled $1200 and seemed great with all the extras. I didn't know until now that the hotels are no where near the beach and the cruise ship is a lousy one.
So where do I go now? I just turned 21 in April and just now got enough money to pay for the rest of my cruise so that I could take my girlfriend and I on it in a few months. I heard that you could only get your money back by taking the whole vacation and then getting a refund. But I don;t even want the hassle of staying in a cheap hotel.
I want them to refund my money in a check sent to my name via certified mail so that I know I will get the money. I recently canceled the credit card that I used to put the down payment on the vacation on. Is there any way that this site can please help me? I hope I don't have to pay the rest of the money to get something... Or maybe nothing back.
