I am unable to get a refund from Travelocity. I called the Hotel and asked them about the layout of the room because we needed 2 separate rooms, and the Holiday Inn Express in Fort Bragg NC, informed me that it was just one large room, so I told them to cancel it. Travelocity charged my credit card for the full rate of the room and the entire stay anyway.

I called Travelocity and let them know I had canceled when I saw the charges on my card and explained to them the reasons for needing 2 rooms and they refused to credit us for it. Saying they had already paid the Hotel. I then spoke with the hotel who told me Travelocity is lying they never bill them for a stay until after the guest checks out.

They confirmed I never stayed there and received a document from the Hotel saying they have no record of us ever staying there. I sent that to the credit card company via certified mail and they removed the charges while they were being investigated. Travelocity sent them screen shots of where I made the reservation, which I never disputed making the reservation, but WE DID NOT STAY IN THAT HOTEL.

I saw nothing in their information about cancellation, as a matter of fact they took my money thru AOL travel "a service of travelocity" which has NOTHING about reserving the right to rip you off if you decide not to use their service.
